Flexible deployment options - For large-scale organizations, Profiles software is bundled with fully-integrated information-gathering tools, training, and support. The software can be deployed in several ways to meet the needs of your technical environment. Choose between a desktop, Web, or Universal Desktop Application (UDA; a hybrid) implementation. The UDA is a hybrid platform that enables advisors to manage their client cases both on their local computer and online in a centralized database by enhancing their desktop software with online capabilities. Existing users of Profiles software can easily transition to the UDA - data input and reporting is exactly the same.
- Profiles software - both Profiles Forecaster and Profiles Professional are available
- Desktop, Web, or both - client cases and Profiles software can be accessed either online or on an advisor's local desktop or laptop computer
- Flexible access - connected and disconnected modes enable advisors to create, edit, and update files whether they're at home, on the road or in the office
- Synchronization tools - case management screens enable advisors to synchronize, delete and export client cases so that they can keep both locally and centrally stored client cases in sync
- Data integration - UDA architecture is specifically designed to integrate with legacy applications and external data sources
- Auditing & reporting tools - event logging capabilities provide advisor usage statistics for reporting and evaluation purposes
- Workflow controls - guides advisors through the plan-approval process and gives oversight capabilities to designated compliance officers and/or managers
- Asset allocation options - choose from user-defined, Ibbotson, or configurable
- Centralized data storage - the highest level of electronic and physical security protects your client data and cases in a centralized location
- Administration controls - the Profiles Administration Tool makes it easy for administrators and managers to add, edit, and delete users, control user access, and configure auditing capabilities
- Low-maintenance updates - updates and upgrades are centrally administered to facilitate your initial deployment, and to ensure that advisors are using the latest version of the software in the future
- Data security - client data is stored in a secure, redundant environment
